Senior Vice President, Agency Originations Director
Richard Conley is Senior Vice President and Director of Agency Originations. In this role he is responsible for overseeing a division of CPC that is focused on providing capital to underserved communities through its Freddie Mac and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) permanent loan product offerings.
During his more than 20-year tenure at CPC, Mr. Conley has served as Chief Credit Officer where he oversaw credit quality in origination of all construction and permanent loans. He was also responsible for managing the approval and presentation of loan recommendations to CPC’s Mortgage Committees, and collaborated withthe Special Assets Team to aggressively pursue favorable resolutions to the at-risk loans in company’s portfolio.
Mr. Conley also served as Senior Mortgage Officer in CPC’s Bronx office, helping to revitalize numerous neighborhoods that had fallen into disrepair. He also assisted in financing the renovation of Parkchester complex, a 12,271-unit propertylocated in the Bronx financed by CPC and successfully developed by its for-profit subsidiary, CPC Resources, Inc.
Mr. Conley received his Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern Maine.
